Why are rats and mice a serious problem?
Rodents breed quickly: a female mouse can have five to ten litters a year. A mouse can squeeze through a gap of about 6 to 7 mm, so small cracks around pipes, doors and vents are enough to let them in. Once inside they contaminate food and surfaces, can spread bacteria such as Salmonella and Leptospira, and gnaw electrical cables, which creates a fire risk.
How does our rodent control work?
- Inspection. We identify the species, the entry points, the nesting sites and the runs they use.
- Baiting and trapping. Approved rodenticides are placed in locked, tamper-resistant stations, with traps in sensitive areas such as kitchens and food stores.
- Exclusion and proofing. We seal cracks, gaps, vents and service entries so rodents cannot get back in.
- Sanitation advice. We advise on waste storage and housekeeping to remove what attracts them.
- Monitoring. We check and replenish stations and record activity until the site is clear. Regular monitoring contracts are available.
What are the signs of a rodent infestation?
- Scratching or rustling in ceilings and walls, especially at night
- Small dark droppings near cupboards, under sinks or behind appliances
- Gnaw marks on cables, wood, packaging or food containers
- Greasy rub marks along walls and skirting
- Nests of shredded paper or fabric, and a musky smell in storage areas

Rodent Control Dubai: Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to get rid of rats or mice?
Activity usually drops within one to two weeks of baiting and trapping. Full control depends on the size of the infestation and on sealing every entry point, which is why proofing is part of our service.
Are rodent baits safe for children and pets?
Baits are placed inside locked, tamper-resistant stations that children and pets cannot open, and traps are used where bait is not suitable. All products are approved by Dubai Municipality.
What attracts rats and mice to a property?
Open waste, pet food, spilled food, standing water and clutter attract rodents, and gaps around pipes, doors and vents let them in. Removing food sources and sealing gaps keeps them out.
Do you seal the entry points as well as remove the rodents?
Yes. Exclusion and proofing are a core part of our rodent control. Removing rodents without closing their entry points only gives short-term relief.
